GRACE COURBIS
Grace Courbis is a multidisciplinary artist, fine Art photographer, writer, and creative director whose work explores identity, transformation, femininity, sensuality, vulnerability, and the expressive space between softness and power.
Born in Chile and shaped by a life lived across cultures, Courbis developed an expansive creative practice that moves fluidly between fine Art photography, painting, digital imagery, mixed media, installation, and visual storytelling. Largely self-taught as a photographer and painter, she also holds formal training in Interior Architecture, which has increasingly influenced the way she approaches space, environment, and immersive artistic experience.
Her professional life has always existed at the intersection of creativity, communication, culture, and human connection. Before fully dedicating herself to her artistic practice, Courbis worked across a wide range of fields, from historic cultural institutions in New York to aviation and journalism, including writing a Spanish-language baseball column for ESPN Sports Ticker distributed throughout Latin America. Each chapter contributed to the multidisciplinary perspective that now defines her work.
Through Graceful Inspirations Photography, Courbis developed a body of fine Art photography centered on the human form, exploring femininity, strength, sensuality, vulnerability, and transformation. Her work has since evolved beyond the photographic image into multimedia and immersive installations that invite the viewer to become part of the experience.
That same instinct for expansion ultimately became the foundation of The Courbis House. Courbis founded the House on the belief that an artwork can contain a larger world—one capable of moving beyond its original medium and into fashion, objects, interiors, environments, and new forms of creative expression while preserving the visual identity of the original Art.
For The Courbis House, selected works from her own artistic practice become part of this continuing exploration, moving beyond the frame while remaining rooted in the language, emotion, and intention from which they began.
