ROSARIA VIGORITO

Rosaria Vigorito is an award-winning Miami-based contemporary artist whose work explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of the human experience through fragmented forms, expressive lines, and vibrant color. Her distinctive visual language moves between abstraction and figuration, using fragmentation to reveal rather than conceal—allowing figures, portraits, and objects to emerge with a sense of movement, energy, and vitality.

Formerly a New York lawyer and tenured law librarian professor, Vigorito holds an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where she studied figurative art. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries, museums, institutions, and major art fairs, including Context Art Fair, Art Wynwood, Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary, and New York Art Expo.

At the heart of Vigorito’s practice is an exploration of the female form, androgyny, the inner psyche, desire, beauty, and what she describes as the essence that makes us “energy in motion.” For Vigorito, the artist is both messenger and provocateur—challenging familiar perceptions while embracing the emotional, sensual, spiritual, and deeply human.
