Love Is A Battlefield transforms Grace Courbis’ expressive original artwork into a dramatic wearable composition. Sweeping lines of crimson, yellow, green and blue move across the elongated silhouette, while the central heart-like form becomes the visual pulse of the piece.
Bold, emotional and unapologetically expressive, the cloak explores the tension between vulnerability and strength—the beauty, conflict and intensity that can coexist within love.
Created for The Courbis House, the artwork extends across the garment rather than functioning as a conventional print, allowing the cloak itself to become part of the composition. Its oversized silhouette and sculptural hood give the work movement, presence and scale.
